Professional and Graduate Guidance

📍 EESTEC LC Patras returns to us with an online event, which focuses on the development of a student after the completion of undergraduate studies. During the event, the following topics will be discussed: the future course of a final student, his academic prospects, the most sought-after jobs, and even the first steps for establishing a Startup company.

👨‍🏫The speakers will be: Athanasios Tsakalides, professor emeritus in the field of Computer Logic at the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics (CEID) at the University of Patras and Nasos Koskinas, CEO and founder of POS4work.

Machine Learning Algorithms with Applications on Graphs.

The seminar analyzed topics such as algorithms in machine learning and how they relate to graph theory as well as their applications in modern businesses.
Speakers were: Makris Christos (Associate Professor), Giorgos Pispirigos (MSc.), Simos Michael-Angelos (MSc.) and Siaterlis Konstantinos (MSc.).

Design: Basic principles and applications in software development.

In this seminar experienced members of LC Patras presented the basic elements and principles of Design such as: color theory, typography and arrangement of objects in a composition. At the same time, the participants learned how to design a User Interface through a free software.

The seminar also contained an asynchronous part of training in which the participants put into practice the theoretical knowledge they gained by creating the UI of a mobile application.
